Double Trouble

Everyone that has a ferret should get a cat for him to play with. We spent too many years depriving Wesley of a best friend, I had no idea they would get along as well as they do. People are fascinated with our livestock (as my Granny calls them), so here are some pictures for those that keep asking. We sure like them~

They spend most of their time wrestling with each other but for a few minutes they stopped to cuddle.
Niles loves Wesley's food so we started shutting his cage, now Niles just stands outside and flicks it to himself one little piece at a time.

Here comes the sun...

When I leave work at almost 5:00 it's no longer dark outside!

It's Vintage!

When my parents were here in December they brought me some boxes that had been in storage at their house. In going through these boxes I came across a lot of my elementary school stuff. In this old school stuff I found 4 or 5 duotangs with "Michelle Todd" scribbled across the front in my best grade 2 printing, and inside were sheets of clean, unused lined paper. Not one to waste things I set them aside. When Neil needed paper for his new semester at school I told him about these duotangs. Now my husband in his 4th year of university is going to school with my leftover grade 2 workbooks. Awww.

Unchained Melody

Tomorrow I start my pottery class. I think it's going to be harder than it looks. I hope I can make something pretty, like a vase or a terracotta warrior.

I'm going to be a bad mother

Wesley and Niles have ear mites. That means I'm a bad mom. I feel like a mother of children with head lice and they just keep passing it between each other. However, I am a good mom because I made an appointment with the vet to get them both treated. They have to put this ointment on the backs of their necks. That's not where the ear mites are but it works! I got them in as soon as possible~ tomorrow. I hope they make it till then.

What does it mean?

I have been having these really vivid dreams lately where I am chewing gum and I just can't get it out of my mouth. It's always a big ol' wad of bubble gum and it's sticking to my teeth and sliding down my throat and no matter how hard I try I can't get it out! I pull on it and bite it off and pull on it some more but it never all comes out. I have had this dream multiple times so I figured there must be something to it. I found a dream analysis site and this is what it said...

Gum
To dream that you are chewing gum, suggests that you are unable to express yourself effectively. You may feel vulnerable. Alternatively, it symbolizes a sticky situation that you found yourself in.

To dream that you are unable to get rid of your gum, suggests that you are experiencing some indecision, powerlessness or frustration. You may lack understanding in a situation or find that a current problem is overwhelming.

Now I guess there are some situations wherein this could apply but I dunno, does anybody buy in to this stuff? Am I going to be ok?!

I'm a fan, it's ok.

I have never seen this movie and don't actually even know what it's about but I saw it at the video store yesterday and it caught my eye. While walking by I glanced at it and thought "hey is that Michael Jackson?" Upon taking a closer look I realized that no it is not Michael Jackson but it is indeed a half man/half woman face, and how funny that I should think it was MJ. I'm not usually one to make the he/she, Michael-looks-like-Janet jokes, but geez, this he/she certainly fit the face.

New skin

My husband bought me a fabulous pair of new jeans for my birthday. This is the fifth day in a row that I have worn them. I love them. Like LOVE them.
